Banda criada em Fortaleza-Ce, no início do ano de 1999 com o nome Deriva e com a proposta, desde o princípio, de tocar
músicas autorais, misturando alguns estilos do rock, dos quais se destacam o Hardcore e o Heavy Metal.
Aderiva é formada por Harrison Farias (Vocal e Guitarra), Tonioni Havana (Baixo e Vocais), Kiko Vasconcelos (Guitarra) e Leandro Osterne (Bateria).
